

Kapono Ukulele Gallery
The Kapono Ukulele is handcrafted in the Soprano, Concert, Tenor and Baritone sizes with options for both traditional and pineapple styles. There are options for electrification or designer mother of pearl or paua shell inlays available.
Traditional and Pineapple ukuleles:
Head stock: Selected Koa wood. Pearl (or paua) "Kapono" name and koru design. Grover 4B tuning pegs. Micarta Nut and saddle.Neck: Mahogany.
Fingerboard: Up to 17-fret fingerboard. Pearl (or Paua) dot position markers front and side.
Body: Hand selected solid Hawaiian Koa wood body with curved back. Maple or turtleshell bindings. Pearl, Paua or wood sound-hole inlay. Micarta Saddle. Kerfed internal linings. Combination Maple and Tawa braces. Hilo or Aquila Strings. Satin finish varnish, optional extra gloss lacquering is available on request.
Tahitian ukuleles
Based on the local tahitian island model.Tahitian ukuleles have a rear sound hole and have eight strings with geared machine heads. These ukuleles are constructed from selected kauri or mahogany woods or as requested on custom models..
